The hotel opened in 1971 and has expanded step by step ever since, with the last big expansion being completed in 2010.

Today, Stord Hotell is known for being a modern business and conference hotel with character and a warm atmosphere. The hotel has 172 rooms of varying sizes and standards and 8 conference rooms with a capacity for up to 325 people. There is also a large parking lot with free parking, and a newly redesigned restaurant, highly appreciated by both hotel guests and locals of Sunnhordland.

Whatever the season or time of day, you will experience a warm and pleasant atmosphere at Stord Hotell. We show great appreciation towards all our guests, whether you are travelling for work or leisure, attending a course or conference, or have something to celebrate.

From Monday to Saturday, we offer our hotel guests fresh fruit and a snack every afternoon, and you can have fresh coffee and tea all day long.
