Website: The information collected through our website is used to optimise the website’s user experience and functionalities based on user patterns, popular content, and customer needs. Our goal is to ensure our pages are inspiring and intuitive, and that it’s easy for our visitors to find what they are looking for.

In addition, Facebook and Google will collect and process information about your use of the website to ensure that advertisements are targeted according to your interests. You will most likely see more adverts from us after visiting our website.

Newsletter: To sign up to our newsletter we require a manual completion and consent to the digital subscription form for our newsletter.

The website: Your website user behaviour is automatically collected by the cookies on our website. Read more about our cookie policy further down this page. When you submit a form to get in touch with us, the personal data you provide is stored locally in our website editor.

How personal data is stored

Newsletter: Your contact information for the newsletter subscription is stored in our account on Simp. The account is secured with a password and is only available to qualified employees at Stord Hotel.

Website: The website user behaviour information is linked to anonymous identifiers from various cookies and stored by the suppliers we use for analysis and advertising. See the description of all our cookies further down this page.

Voluntary consent

Newsletter: Providing personal data such as contact information is voluntary. We are obliged to ask for your consent to distribute the newsletter. You will only receive information from us if you have given us your consent. By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to your name and e-mail address being stored in our newsletter program.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. When you do so, your personal data will be deleted from our newsletter program. Google Ads/Double click: We use tracking technology from Google’s advertising tools. This enables us to receive detailed reports of our own advertising campaigns, because we can monitor which advertising campaign you have seen and clicked on, to get on our site. The tool also links your visit to the website to your general Google behavioural profile. Google uses this information to give you more targeted and relevant advertisements and we get more data about our visitors through the Google behaviour profile.

Facebook Pixels: We use Facebook Pixles to register your visit to so that we can reach you with our advertisements on Facebook. Many websites use this cookie today. This way, Facebook can show you advertisements and content that are relevant to you and in line with your previous search history. We do not collect any personal information through Facebook Pixles. Only the user history collected by the cookie and stored locally on your computer.
